Payment and Refund Policy

This Payment and Refund Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms relating to payment processing, settlements, and refund eligibility for services provided by Boostnet Pvt Ltd (“Boostnet,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) through our mobile application and web portal (collectively, the “Platform”). By using our Platform, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

1. Payment Policy

1.1 Accepted Payment Methods

  • All payments for EV charging sessions must be made through the Boostnet mobile application using our regulated third-party payment gateway.
  • Accepted methods include credit cards, debit cards, and other payment instruments supported by the payment gateway.

1.2 Payment Processing

  • Payments are processed in real time at the start of a charging session or as otherwise indicated within the Platform.
  • Boostnet does not store your credit/debit card details. All transactions are subject to the third-party payment provider’s terms and conditions.

1.3 Charging Rates

  • Charging session rates are set by the EV Charger Host and displayed within the Platform prior to initiating a session.
  • Rates may vary based on location, charger type (AC or DC), and promotional offers.

1.4 Settlement to EV Charger Hosts

  • Boostnet will settle payments to EV Charger Hosts on a monthly basis, after deducting the agreed platform fee for operating the Boostnet software platform.
  • Settlement will be made via bank transfer to the account details provided by the EV Charger Host.

2. Refund Policy

2.1 General Refund Rules

  • Refunds will only be issued in cases where a charging session fails due to a technical fault on the charger or platform and no energy was delivered to the vehicle.
  • Refunds will not be issued for:
    • User errors (e.g., incorrect charger selection, premature charging stopped by the user).
    • Price dissatisfaction after session initiation.
    • Situations outside Boostnet’s control (e.g., power outages, vehicle issues).

2.2 Refund Requests

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the charging session via the Boostnet customer support channel (support@boostnet.energy).
  • You must provide:
    • Date and time of the charging session
    • Charger location and ID
    • Transaction reference number
    • Reason for refund request

2.3 Refund Approval Process

  • Boostnet will investigate the request, which may involve contacting the EV Charger Host and reviewing system logs.
  • If approved, the refund will be processed through the original payment method within 10–15 business days.

2.4 Partial Refunds

  • In cases where the charging session was only partially completed due to a technical fault, Boostnet may issue a pro-rated refund based on the kWh consumed.

3. Disputes

If you believe an incorrect charge was made, you must notify Boostnet within 7 days of the transaction date. Disputes will be reviewed, and a resolution will be provided in writing.

4. Changes to This Policy

Boostnet reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the Platform, with the updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
