Terms & Conditions

1. Definitions

• “Platform” – The Boostnet mobile app, website, and related services for EV charging.
• “User” – Any individual or entity registered to use the Platform.
• “EV Charger Host” – A third party owning or operating EV chargers integrated with Boostnet.
• “Charging Session” – The act of connecting an EV to an EV charger through the Platform for charging.

2. Services Provided

1. Boostnet connects EV users with participating AC and DC charging stations.
2. Payments for charging are made through our third-party payment gateway within the mobile app.
3. At the end of each month, Boostnet settles amounts owed to EV Charger Hosts after deducting applicable platform fees.
4. Boostnet may offer promotional campaigns in collaboration with EV Charger Hosts.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities within your account.

4. Payments and Fees

• All payments for charging sessions are processed via our regulated third-party payment gateway.
• Boostnet does not store your credit/debit card information.
• Charging session rates are determined by the EV Charger Host and displayed in the Platform before initiation.
• Boostnet deducts a platform fee from amounts payable to the EV Charger Host before settlement.

5. Promotions and Marketing

• By participating in promotions, you agree that your name, NIC/PP/Driving License, email, phone number, and vehicle details (excluding registration number) may be shared with participating EV Charger Hosts.
• Promotional offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.

6. Location Services

• The Platform uses your device location during charger initiation to identify available charging stations.
• You consent to location tracking for service provision purposes when using the Platform.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes.
• Interfere with the operation of the Platform or attempt unauthorized access.
• Misrepresent information when registering or using the Platform.

8. EV Charger Hosts

• EV Charger Hosts must comply with Boostnet’s EV Charging Installation Guidelines for integration.
• Boostnet is not responsible for the condition, availability, or performance of EV chargers owned by third parties.
• Disputes regarding charging service quality should be directed to the respective EV Charger Host.

9. Liability and Disclaimers

• The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• Boostnet is not liable for charging downtime or unavailability, incorrect or outdated charger information, or loss/damage from use of the Platform or chargers.
• Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Third-Party Payment Gateway

Payment processing is handled exclusively by a regulated third-party payment provider. Your use of the payment service is subject to that provider’s own terms and conditions.

11. Intellectual Property

• All content on the Platform, including software, trademarks, and designs, is owned or licensed by Boostnet.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without written permission.

12. Termination

Boostnet may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if:

• You breach these Terms.
• You misuse the Platform or engage in any fraudulent activity.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, applicable across the entire territory of Sri Lanka. You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Platform, or the services provided, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Sri Lanka. Proceedings may be initiated in any court having jurisdiction over the matter, regardless of your place of residence within Sri Lanka.

14. Changes to These Terms

Boostnet reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on the Platform with the revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
